Also known as doggy boot camp or our stay and train program, our board & train programs run between 2-8+ weeks depending on the specific training goals of the owner. Please email us for further details and pricing.

We consider our board & train programs to be the most popular and efficient method of training we offer, since your dog enters into an immersive and training-focused environment. Our program differs from most because your family member is not housed in a facility to be trained and cared for by anonymous employees.

Your dog lives with us at our home as part of the family and participates in structured house time, supervised yard time, playtime with other dogs, and training sessions each day. In addition to formal obedience, dogs will be expected to follow (or learn) basic house manners. Campers also go on field trips to practice and proof their new skills in real life situations,

Below are our popular programs. We also provide customized board & train programs to fit your specific needs. Puppy Headstart programs listed at bottom of this page.

Due to the fact that campers stay in our personal home, spaces are limited for our board & train programs, and it is highly recommended to book well in advance.

Doggy Boot Camp aka Our Stay & Train

For dogs 6 months old and older, we have the following programs. These are for dogs with some or no previous training, that do not have any serious behavioral issues, and don’t require behavioral modification. Our Board & Trains start at $2100 for 2 weeks and vary in price depending on program length, type, and the needs of each individual dog.

Take home lessons and follow up lesson(s) included with each program.

The Basics 2-week Program
Now offering an accelerated program for dogs 12 months or older. An on-leash course covering sit, down, stay, come, heel, crate training, and place.

The Standard 4-week Program
Commands covered are: sit, down, stay, heel, come, leave it, crate training, and place/go to your bed. This program is a great way to teach your dog the ABCs of dog training and lay a strong foundation of obedience on your dog. Your dog will have a new set of skills and you’ll have a new method of communicating and engaging with your dog.

All training is done on-leash, however this program also includes an introduction to the remote training collar and the beginnings of off- leash work.

The Complete 6-week Program
Commands covered are: sit, down, stay, heel, come, leave it, crate training, and go to place/your bed. Additional commands can be covered under request.

This program will result in a fully e-collar conditioned dog.

The Comprehensive 8-week Program

Get the most out of your dog and his education with this comprehensive training course!

Commands covered are: sit, down, stay, heel, come, leave it, crate training, and go to place/your bed. Additional commands can be covered under request. Minor behavioral & reactivity issues are also addressed in this program.

Reactive Rover Program

Does your dog bark, lunge, growl, snarl, and generally just act like a jerk on your walks? This program may be perfect for you and your naughty pooch to make your walks, hikes, and outings enjoyable again! This program specifically focuses on behavior modification for your dog’s leash reactivity. Please note this program is for reactivity only and not true aggression!

Behavioral Board & Trains

For dogs that have serious behavioral problems such as extreme reactivity, dog aggression, human aggression, fear-based aggression, uncontrollable leash reactivity, bite histories. These dogs are taken on a case-by-case basis. A minimum of 6 weeks, may run longer depending on severity of the case. Please contact us directly if you believe your dog may require this level of intensive behavior modification.

Owners must be prepared to commit to their dog’s training and the maintenance of their training in order to make their positive behavior changes permanent. Please contact us if you believe your dog needs intensive behavioral modification!

Boarding

Boarding is available for past and current EduCanine clients only.

Puppy Head Start Camp is for puppies as young as 10 weeks and up to 4 months of age. Puppies get started on building a foundation of basic obedience, crate training, potty training, confidence building, socialization, leash walking, and getting used to handling & grooming.

We offer programs ranging from 4 weeks to up to 12+ weeks in length and also offer custom long-term puppy raising and training packages.

We recommend our graduates to return for more formal training once they’re more mature and can grasp more complicated concepts.
